Can you remember your very first WOD – what was it?
I don’t remember specifically, but remember it being all upper body and not being able to lift my arms for about 2 weeks! So sore but SO GOOD!
What’s your favourite workout or lift and why?
My favourite lift is probably a strict press and back squat. I love seeing the progression and how we can record our results so we have something to aim for the next time.
What motivated you to join the community at Fortis?
My friend Charne, she couldn’t stop telling me about how much of a difference it was making to her life and she encouraged me to try it out and I haven’t looked back.
What are your goals for this year?
To get stronger and fitter and to nail pull-ups.
What are you enjoying most about training at Fortis?
I really love the structured workouts and how easily the trainers adapt moves specifically for you if you are new to the workout or have injuries. Plus it’s such a positive and encouraging environment.

I lived in Italy for 2 years and learned to love red wine and coffee
