😴 Not Getting Results? It Might Not Be Your Training…
If you’ve been showing up, putting in the work and still feeling like results are… meh 😅 this one’s for you.
Because here’s the truth: It’s not always your training.
In fact, sometimes the issue isn’t that you’re not doing enough… it’s that everything around your training isn’t supporting it.
👀 Let’s zoom out
We often default to thinking:
·I need to train harder
·I need to do more
·I need to push myself
But more isn’t always better.
Sometimes you’re not undertraining… you’re just under-recovered.
⚡ The real game-changers
Your results are shaped by what happens outside the gym just as much as what happens in it:
😴 Sleep - are you getting enough quality rest?
🧠 Stress - work, life, mental load… it all adds up
🥗 Nutrition - are you fuelling your body properly?
🔄 Recovery - are you giving your body time to adapt?
You can have the best programme in the world, but if these are out of whack, progress will feel slow or non-existent.
🧠 Are you training hard… or just training tired?
There’s a difference.
Training hard = intentional, structured, with purpose 💪
Training tired = pushing through fatigue, low energy and hoping for the best 😵💫
One builds you up. The other slowly runs you down.
And this is where people get stuck - constantly feeling like they need to do more when actually what they need is better balance ⚖️
🔋 What does progress actually need?
Not perfection. Not punishment.
It needs:
Consistency ✔️
Enough intensity at the right times 🔥
And just as importantly - recovery and lower intensity work 🧱
This is how you build capacity. This is how results last.
✅ A couple of simple resets
If things feel a bit off right now, start here:
1. Check your basics first
Before adding more training, ask:
Am I sleeping well? 😴
Am I eating enough and regularly? 🥗
Am I constantly feeling exhausted?
Start there. It matters more than you think.
2. Give yourself permission to balance it out
Not every session needs to be all-out 🔥
Some days should feel steady, controlled, even easy and yes these sessions still count 👊
That’s not you slacking off - that’s you training smart 🧠

Coach Renee and I headed down and had an absolute blast 💥 Some seriously strong results in the mix, but more than anything it was such a fun experience. Huge thanks to our families and supporters who helped make the whole thing what it was ❤️
🏆 Masters League momentum building
We’ve had members qualify for the Masters League Invitational and even better, a couple have gone straight through to the finals in Australia later this year🔥 Massive achievement and so well deserved.

Team Wilson took this on and absolutely smashed it 💪 Love seeing the partnerships, the grit and the support out on the floor.
👼 Fit Kids & Teen Angels – Term 1 wrap up
Term 1 is wrapping up this week! It’s been awesome seeing the energy, growth and confidence building each session 🌱 We’ll be back into it again in April.

We’re back into Term 2 and ready to go - more movement, more confidence, more fun 👊
